Emmy winner Debra Messing is expected to miss the last four "Will & Grace" episodes of the season after doctors ordered the pregnant actress to stay off her feet for the remainder of her pregnancy.

While Reuters reports that there have been no complications with Messing's condition, she was instructed to "take it easy." Reportedly production has been continuing without Messing for the past three weeks and the character of Grace has been written out of the show's one-hour season finale, expected to air on Thursday, April 29.

Messing, who won her first lead actress Emmy in 2003, is eight months pregnant with her first child, with husband Daniel Zelman. Her character, however, has not followed suit, leading to a season of loose-fitting clothes and interesting camera angles.

The sixth season finale of "Will & Grace" will revolve around Karen's (Megan Mullally) wedding to the character played by legendary British comic John Cleese. Sickness is expected to be the explanation for Grace's absence, though Jennifer Lopez will make a guest appearance.

One of the anchors of NBC's Thursday line-up, "Will & Grace" averages 15.4 million viewers, making it television's fourth most watched comedy after soon-to-depart "Friends" and CBS' Monday duo of "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "Two and a Half Men."
